How to play Yukon Solitaire
Make Yukon Solitaire your next activity in the game library. Build four suit foundations from ace to king. Use the example below to understand a decision. Treat the first round as a chance to learn the controls. Keep the game area visible while you use its controls.
One deck, no stock, Yukon deal. Free solo play, no wagering.
Try a deliberate move
After a move, check what changed. Decide which rule explains the new state before acting again. Use the example to check your reasoning.
Your goal
Build four suit foundations from ace to king. An attractive position is not enough unless the goal is met. Take a moment to understand the current position.
Step by step
- Build down in alternating colours. Any face-up card carries all cards below it, even when unordered. Kings fill empty columns.
- Select a face-up card and then the destination pile or Empty slot.
- Use foundations where available; full Spider or Scorpion runs clear automatically.
- Undo reverses a choice. New deal shuffles again.
Controls
Click or tap cards and piles. Wide tableaus scroll inside the game; use Undo, Hint and New deal where shown. Read a button’s label before selecting it. Check any mode label before starting.
A useful example
A red 6 carrying an unordered tail can move onto a black 7. Use the example as a guide rather than a substitute for reading your board. Take a moment to compare.
Watch out for this
Random deals are not guaranteed solvable. A hint is a legal move, not a winning strategy. Check the rule before repeating the action. Take enough time to read a new position. If a game has a timer, learn its controls first rather than searching for them during the round.
